Hi Boaters,
I will be providing a fishing report each week.
These reports will be from local fishermen and women as well as a great website “Visit East Gippsland” http://www.visiteastgippsland.com.au/

| Lakes Entrance | Foot bridge for trevally taking pilchards. Floating Dragon jetty for king George whiting. Kalimna Jetty and Nungurner also for whiting on peeled prawn and worm. Offshore for pinkies and Snapper, best results using pilchards and squid. Closer to the beach for gummy shark. | ||
| Lake Tyers | Flathead and bream are throughout the lake system, best baits being soft plastics, vibes and prawn. Tailor are to be found in deeper water taking lures. Surf for salmon chasing lures. | ||
| Mitchell River |

| Tambo River | Clues Bluff, Punthouse Point and Howlet Flats for bream, best bait being sandworm. | ||
| Nicholson | From the Two Bridges and up to the Strait Six for bream and flatties, best results using sandworm and plastics. | ||
| Metung | In front of the hotel for bream, best results using frozen prawn. Whiting at Nungurner Jetty or fishing from boat on worm. All town jetties are worth a try. | ||
| Paynesville | Try the town jetties for mullet on worm. The Back Lake for flatties and leather jacket also calamari squid on plastics and lures. | ||
| Holland’s Landing | Woodpile, Hollands Landing jetty and into Lake Victoria are best for bream, best results using shrimp and prawn, Blond Bay also worth a try. | ||
| Marlo |

| Bemm River | Bream are in the main lake and channel on worm. Flatties are cruising chasing soft plastics. Surf for salmon and tailor on poppers and blue bait. The entrance is closed | ||
| Tamboon Inlet | Football Ground for pinkies taking prawn. Flatties at Pelican Point smashing blue bait and lures. Bream hunting around River Mouth taking prawn. | ||
| Mallacoota | Surf for salmon still chasing pilchards and poppers, Top and Bottom Lake for bream, but you will need to work for them. Some luderick at Fisheries and Harrison channel on weed. | ||
